The iTunes implementation we sneaked on to the site a few months ago and it seems to be useful (but we need more feedback!) – it sits below the main price panel on the right and shows the price of the album on iTunes.

Now we’ve added Amazon.co.uk’s MP3 Download pricing next to it so you get a better view of what’s available.

This is something we’ve been striving towards for a while and we’re still not sure where it should sit and how prominent it should be. If you think we should be giving it a better place on screen then Let Us Know as we always appreciate your help.

Personally, we’ve already found it useful – here’s a couple of examples to show you.

1. Rockferry by Duffy (Deluxe Edition) is currently around £6.00 for the CD but is available from Amazon’s MP3 download for only £3.99 for a limited time.
2. Lungs by Florence and the Machine – the MP3 download saves over a pound from the CD version.

Well we have (and we’re working on improving it even more) and you can see the results by taking a look at some examples.

Take all girl popular classical crossover string quartet – Bond for example, their Born CD now has a number of retailers that you can buy it from.

Or slightly more “serious” Classical singer Russell Watson we’ve got a load of his albums where you can find them cheaper than elsewhere.

Or straight from the classical world – try Andrea Bocelli
